Abstract
Conium maculatum is a plant containing a large number of various biologically active substances. Samples were extracted from the suspension cell culture of hemlock spotted and their analysis was provided with GC/MS method. The presence of various groups of substances that show biological activity was detected in a suspension cell culture: furanocoumarins (bergapten, isopimpinellin, marmesin) monocyclic cyclohexane monoterpenoids and acyclic triterpenoids, esters of organic and fatty acids, saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons.
