Abstract
The model system represented by tobacco suspension cell culture By-2 wild type and line NAS was used for the investigation of H+-ATPase acidifying activity, detected with bromocresol purple. It is shown that ABP1 is important for regulation of plasma membrane proton pump activity during elongation growth.
