Abstract
The biosynthetic potential of actinobacteria isolated from two groups of endemic crustaceans of Lake Baikal, littoral and deep-water, were studied. It was shown the predominance of the specimens from the genus Streptomyces for both groups of amphipods. The test of biosynthetic activity was conducted by means of disk-diffusion method against a number of model microorganisms, E. coli, P. putida, B. subtilis, S. carnosus, S. cerevisiae. The conducted study revealed the strains with both targeted activity against specific type of microorganisms (Gram negative, Gram positive, or fungi) and a wide range of activity.
