Abstract
The results of bioinformatic analysis revealed the following regularity: the average size of the 5'-untranslated region (5'-UTR) for most A. thaliana genes with a high level of expression varies from 80 to 120 bp. with an average GC content of 36.5%. Based on the alignment results, a consensus 5'-UTR is defined as a new regulatory element that can potentially provide highly efficient expression and synthesis of the desired product in plants. This sequence is 87 bp in size. and GC content of 35.6%. It has been demonstrated that the consensus 5'-UTR provides an increase in the accumulation of bireporter protein by more than 25%, thereby acting as a potential positive regulatory element in the translation efficiency.
