Abstract

In the study it was conducted the biotesting of six pesticides on the wheat and yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The pesticide was evaluated by the effect on the wheat growing features and the catalase activity, the toxicity for yeast – by the catalase acivity and the intensity of ethylalcogol fermentation. The phytotoxicity of the aqueous extracts from the soil with introduced herbicides was also investigated. The results obtained are discussed.
