Abstract
In this study, the effect of heavy metals (Cu, Ni, Co, Zn, Fe) on MMO from Methylococcus capsulatus (strain M): pMH and NADH-OR has been studied. It was shown that metal cations have an inhibitory effect on this enzymes. The greatest inhibition of enzymatic activity was observed for NADH-OR. Probably the same effect can be expected for other NADH-dependent enzymes.
