Abstract
The study was aimed to the identification of the current phylogeographic structure of relict plant species Waldsteinia ternata throughout its Siberian-East Asian range, its disjunction appeared as a result of unfavorable factors influence during the latest geological periods. The results of molecular genetic analysis evident the East Asian origin of the species, the short-term isolation and the possible migrations between the southern Siberian populations.
