Abstract
A photochemical reflectance index (PRI) shows changes in xanthophylls cycle and, potentially, can be used as indicator of photosynthetic stress in plants. We investigated influence of local and systemic action of stressors on PRI. It was shown that stressors induced changes in PRI. Conditions of using of PRI for monitoring of plant stress responses were discussed.
