Abstract
We found that low temperature is the important trigger for the autumn downregulation оf Chl (a+b) and carotenoids in green leaves of field grown spring cultivar oat plants, Pokrovsky (Avena sativa L.), which were sown at the end of July. We revealed different time and temperature ranges of variation for chlorophylls (a+b) and carotenoids and increase in the Chl a/b ratio, decrease in the Chl (a+b)/carotenoids ratio.
