Abstract
Redox status, peroxidase activity and isoform content in Triticum aestivum, T. monococcum and T. timopheevii plants infected by greenbug aphid (Schizaphis graminum Rond.) were studied. It was shown that tolerant plants contained high level of hydrogen peroxide at the initial stage of infection and were capable to neutralize the reactive oxygen species after defense. Changes of the activity of cationic, neutral and anionic isoperoxidases were found.
