Abstract
Recently, researchers have demonstrated the involvement of lipid rafts in the response of a plant cell to the influence of biotic and abiotic environmental factors. The participation of rafts in the protective mechanisms of the cell is provided both by the protein and lipid components. Proved that in the rafts found proteins that are involved in the processes: microbial-plant interaction, endocytosis, apoptosis and transport. It is shown that the raft-forming lipids affect the resistance of plants to low temperatures and to salinity. It can be concluded that the lipid rafts participate in various defense mechanisms of the plant cell.
