Abstract
The differences in morphophysiological parameters of Melilotus albus seedlings grown in vitro on MS medium with 100 μM sodium selenite under white, blue, red and green light are shown. The selenium action caused oxidative stress. The stress amount depended on the lighting conditions. The combined action of red light and selenium increased the intensity of lipid peroxidation, possibly due to the active accumulation of the element in the seedlings.
