Abstract

Nowadays a widespread of melatonin in the vegetable kingdom is shown. It should be pointed out that evolutionary melatonin is a high conserved molecule and cell protection has been its primary role. However, the mechanism of the protective action of melatonin has not yet been fully explored. As a result, studies have shown influence of melatonin on the morphophysiological parameters of Cucumis sativus L.
