Abstract
The processes of lipid peroxidation in leaves and roots of sweet potato plants differing in their morphological characteristics and anthocyanins content under chloride salinity were studied. It was shown that the level of malonaldialdehyde (MDA) in a clone with an increased content of anthocyanins (No. 3) is higher than in a clone with a low level of anthocyanins (No. 13), both in leaves and in roots under conditions of salt stress. It was found that the MDA content in the roots was higher than in the leaves, both in the control and in the experiment.
