Abstract
In a nature, plants are exposed to various abiotic factors, one of which is salt stress. In the course of the work, influence of salt stress on the work of 2OGDC, as a participant of one of the important stages of the TCA, was investigated. An analysis of the transcriptional activity of genes encoding the 2GODK enzymes in salt stress was carried out using methods of molecular biology. It was found that salt stress in the first hours stimulates the work of 2OGDC in the leaves of maize.
