Abstract
We showed that lectin from Azospirillum brasilense Sp 7 increased activities of peroxidase and superoxide dismutase in roots of 4-day-old seedings of wheat under short-term thermic stress. The results of in this study was supplemented of our earlier data and indicated that the Azospirillum lectins are involved in adaptations and that they inducted protection changes in plants. This effect in combination with other effects of plant growth-promoting bacteria positive influenced on plant resistance and productivity.
