Abstract
We investigated the effect of selenium and silver nanocomposites of various compositions on potato plants in vitro. It was found that mud and shale humic substances and corresponding nanocomposites influence the activity of peroxidase in potato tissues. It has also been proven that AgNO3 has a negative effect on potato plants. It was shown that coal humic substances reduce plant growth and the number of leaves. This indicates a negative effect of coals on potato plants, and the presence of a plant’s stressful state. Thus, as a result of the conducted experiments, agents with antibacterial activity were detected, while they did not damage the potato plant. The presented data testify to the possibility of using nanocomposites for treating cultivated plants against bacterial diseases.
