We invite you to take part in the International Scientific Conference “Plants in Extreme Natural and Anthropogenic Conditions: from Stress Indicators to Resistance Control Technologies”. The Conference will be held in Irkutsk hosted by Siberian Institute of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry SB RAS and on the shore of Lake Baikal (Maloe More) hosted by Irkutsk State University from July 7 to 11, 2020.
The Conference will carry over for consideration current problems of modern plant physiology, cell biology and genetics related to the study of physiological, biochemical and molecular mechanisms of plant resistance to abiotic and biotic stresses. The Conference will elucidate the results of research on the regulation of expression of stress genes and adaptation, as well as research aimed at studying and expanding the adaptive potential of plants under the influence of adverse natural and anthropogenic factors using biotechnologies and the multi-omics approach.
Leading scientists and employees of SIPPB SB RAS will give lectures and master classes within the framework of the scientific school for youth “Modern research methods in plant biology”.
The Conference provides the following presentation formats: plenary (40 min), sectional (20 min), flash presentations (5 min), and poster presentations. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to determine the presentation format of the information offered.
Conference working languages are Russian and English.

- Plants under the action of adverse environmental factors: indicators of the stress state and mechanisms of plant resistance
- Genetic regulation of plant resistance to stress factors of different nature
- Diversity, structure, and dynamics of plant communities under the influence of climatic and anthropogenic factors
- Biotechnology of plants and microorganisms
